LEGO, the globally popular building block toy, holds cherished memories for many children.
But did you know that LEGO also has a theme park?
On April 1, 2017, Japan's first large outdoor LEGO theme park opened grandly in Nagoya.
While there are LEGO parks in Tokyo's Odaiba and Osaka, they are indoor and of a smaller scale. The Nagoya park, similar to a large LEGO amusement park like Disney, is a first in Japan.
Here, families can ride transportation vehicles together, get up close to and create LEGO® models, and enjoy various interactive adventure attractions based on the LEGO® brick world.
The park is divided into 7 different themed areas, featuring over 40 attractions and shows, using 17 million LEGO® bricks and 10,000 LEGO® models.
You can ride flying dragons around a castle, learn to drive and obtain your first driving license, join forces with your family to save a burning building, explore ancient ruins, and indulge in fresh experiences and excitement.
Inside the park, there's a LEGO factory where visitors can learn about the manufacturing process of LEGO bricks.
The Mini Land uses over 10 million LEGO® bricks to recreate selected scenic spots and streets from 10 locations across Japan.
In just one day, you can witness the famous landmarks of Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Nagoya, and more, making it a unique experience found nowhere else in the world.
