To ensure a safe and smooth Mt. Fuji climbing tour, we assign one professional guide certified by Fujiyoshida City for every 20 to 25 guests.
Our guides possess extensive experience and expertise, and can communicate in English, ensuring climbers from around the world can participate with peace of mind.
They provide detailed walking instructions, manage the pace precisely, make judgments on continuing the climb based on weather conditions, and constantly monitor your well-being.
This allows you to enjoy the climb safely, providing reassurance even for first-time climbers.

While there's no strict requirement for professional hiking attire, Mt. Fuji's weather is highly unpredictable, with possibilities of sudden strong winds and heavy rain. We recommend using functional clothing (e.g., Gore-Tex or similar waterproof/breathable fabrics) for better protection and to minimize risks. Furthermore, nighttime temperatures near the summit typically range from 0-6°C (32-43°F), making warm layers essential. If budget is a concern, we offer a convenient hiking gear rental service. (Rental gear is collected at 'Fujisan Miharashi' at the 5th Station).
To ensure service quality and a seamless itinerary, this tour departs exclusively from Shinjuku. To prevent difficulties in locating the pickup point and ensure you don't miss the departure, we advise confirming the meeting location the day before or allowing plenty of travel time. If you fail to arrive at the correct meeting point by the designated time, we will not make separate contact, and your booking will be considered cancelled with no refund issued. Please take note of this policy.
As a reminder, Mt. Fuji is Japan's highest peak at 3,776 meters (12,388 feet). Please be sure to observe the following during your ascent:
・Due to the high altitude, be mindful of your physical condition. Avoid overexertion to prevent extreme fatigue and altitude sickness.
・During the climb, please follow your guide's instructions closely to ensure everyone's safety.
・The mountain can be very crowded during the official climbing season. Please adhere to trail rules and etiquette, be considerate of others, and prioritize safety for yourself and fellow climbers.
We wish you a fantastic climbing experience!

Due to bus dispatch logistics, the return bus may differ from the outbound one. Therefore, leaving luggage on the bus during the climb is not permitted. If you require luggage storage, please utilize the paid lockers and storage area available at the 'Fujisan Miharashi' shop (at the 5th Station). As locker availability is limited, they might be full, so we advise planning your luggage storage arrangements ahead of time.
Absolutely! Solo travelers are very welcome on our Mt. Fuji tour. This trip is quite popular with individual participants, so please don't hesitate to book. Climbing Mt. Fuji offers a great chance to connect with fellow travelers. We look forward to meeting you on the mountain!
When weather conditions are favorable, you have a good chance of witnessing the magnificent sunrise (Goraiko) from the Mt. Fuji summit. However, mountain weather is notoriously unpredictable, and cloud cover can sometimes obstruct the view. Regardless, the landscape on Mt. Fuji offers unique beauty at all times. We hope you have a memorable climb.

Absolutely. UV radiation is extremely intense on Mt. Fuji, even on cloudy days. Be sure to prepare thoroughly with high-SPF sunscreen and reapply it frequently. We also strongly recommend bringing wrap-around sunglasses, a wide-brimmed hat or cap with neck protection, and potentially sun sleeves for added protection.
We suggest starting with about 1 liter of water that you carry yourself. You can buy additional drinking water at the mountain huts during the climb, although it will be more expensive at higher altitudes. Over the entire two-day, one-night tour, anticipate needing approximately 2-3 liters of water in total. Staying properly hydrated is crucial for acclimatization and can help minimize the risk of altitude sickness, so please ensure adequate fluid intake.
To ensure safety during the climb, the participation age for this Mt. Fuji tour is restricted to individuals between 6 and 75 years old (inclusive). Unfortunately, travelers younger than 6 or older than 75 cannot join this tour. Special note for participants aged 70-75: For safety reasons, you will be asked to complete a 'Mt. Fuji Climbing Questionnaire' beforehand. We will send this to you via email attachment. [Questionnaire Download Link [Japanese Version]]
